🧾 Terms of Use — My Gospel Events

1. Acceptance of the Terms
By creating an account and using My Gospel Events, the user confirms that they have read, understood, and fully agree to these Terms of Use.
Acceptance is mandatory and recorded with:
- Date and time
- IP address
- Accepted version of the Terms
If the user does not agree with any provision, they must immediately stop using the platform.
2. Platform Purpose
My Gospel Events is a platform intended exclusively for the promotion of Christian (Gospel) events, including:
- Church services and worship gatherings
- Conferences, congresses, and retreats
- Gospel concerts and presentations
- Christian educational and community events
Events not aligned with Christian values and principles are strictly prohibited.
3. Ministerial Use vs. Commercial Use
3.1 Ministerial Use
Ministerial use applies to events:
- Organized by churches, ministries, or Christian organizations
- With spiritual, educational, or social purposes
- Without profit as the primary objective
This type of use is prioritized on the platform.
3.2 Commercial Use
Commercial use applies to events involving:
- Paid registrations, tickets, or products
- Paid speakers, artists, or services
Commercial events are allowed only if they are clearly Gospel-oriented and respect Christian values.
My Gospel Events does not act as a financial intermediary and is not responsible for transactions.
4. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Publish Gospel-only events
- Respect Canadian federal and provincial laws
- Refrain from publishing political, sexual, discriminatory, offensive, or non-Christian content
5. Published Content
All published content is the sole responsibility of the organizing user.
My Gospel Events does not guarantee accuracy and is not responsible for event changes or cancellations.
6. Moderation, Sanctions, and Penalties
To protect the integrity of the platform, My Gospel Events may:
- Unpublish events
- Temporarily suspend accounts
- Permanently ban repeat offenders
- Remove events or accounts without prior notice
Repeated violations may result in permanent banning.
7. Community Reporting
Any user may report events that are not Christian or violate these Terms.
Reports are reviewed by the My Gospel Events team.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with:
- PIPEDA (Canada)
- Quebec Law 25 (Bill 25)
Users have rights to access, correction, deletion, and portability where applicable.
9. Updates and Legal Versioning
These Terms may be updated at any time.
Each update includes:
- Version number
- Effective date
- Mandatory re-acceptance by users
10. Platform Suspension or Termination
My Gospel Events may suspend or discontinue services, fully or partially, subject to applicable laws.
